Dear Friend,
Over the past few weeks I have had the pleasure of seeing old faces and new as I traversed Montgomery County Council District 2, knocking on doors to ask for support in my upcoming election. And when asked about what was important to them or how they were doing, some people told me stories of how they couldn't find a job, or were concerned about the rise in crime in their area or the congestion as they tried to get to work. And there were some people I met who were quite happy with their way of life. But what struck a chord with me is how many were surprised and excited to have a person knocking on their door and asking them how they were faring in these tough economic times.
And in addition to engaging voters in our mission to reinvigorate our economy, fix our budget and educate our children, we have made great strides in our bid for endorsements.
I only have 5 weeks to go to until the Primary Election and I need your help to make my campaign for the Montgomery County Council a success! Won't you help by contributing to my campaign today? The money will go to help us fund mailers we need to reach out to voters.
The council is at a defining moment as these are challenging times that jeopardize the quality of life we all hold dear. I am the only candidate from District 2 who can move Montgomery County forward. The choices made by the County Council affect each and every resident and it is imperative that you have a councilmember who will get the job done.
